I bought these shoes for my son who is in show business and he likes them a lot. He's not a jazz dancer, he's the lead singer of a musical group and does a lot of crazy James Brown-style dances. (Tyrone's Jacket is a band, you can find them on YouTube.) But since it's not just jazz dance in a suit per se, I looked for shoes that looked like streetwear. BAMM! These shows could not become a big success for him. He comfortably says let him move like in socks with traction. They're so light I can't imagine them lasting very long, but they're not so expensive that they can't be replaced every few months. I'm sure the dancers will give other dancers a better technical and informative overview, but if you are not a professional jazz dancer my comments may help. I highly recommend.
