I like this cute candle but feel it is overpriced and should include a remote.The Luminara Christmas Tree Flameless Candle arrived in a nice sturdy box, making this suitable for giving as a gift. The candle was further protected inside a foam box.Here are my thoughts and observations:•Just like the picture depicts, the top of the candle, the top of the "tree," around the wick, is flat but I knew that going in so I won't deduct any stars.•The wax is dark green and has glitter sprinkled over it, and all tree branches are intact.•Although I like this candle, at $39.99, it is overpriced!•The candle is indeed unscented, which I like!•2 AA batteries are required but not included.•The candle responds well with my previously-owned Luminara remote control. This purchase does not include a remote, nor are batteries included, at $39.99, both should be included!•The "flame" moves and flickers with no noticeable noise, and it has a pleasing look when on, when "lit."•The on/off/timer switch is located on the bottom. The switch must be "on" in order to operate the candle via your remote, not included.•The candle is made in China.Overall, the Luminara Christmas Tree Flameless candle is really cute, but at $39.99, it is overpriced, and should include a remote! By the way, the review process actually prompts a rating for the not-included remote! 🤔🙄 Still, I like the candle and look forward to having it as part of my Christmas display! That said, it can be used year round.
