This was just what I needed when one of my metal connectors in the lamp socket broke. I was afraid something might short out. or cause my lightbulb to not last as long. Also, the bulb couldn't touch the broken one enough and I knew I had to buy a new one. I'm a woman and this was easy to install. as long as you can figure out how to get to the taillights in H*** to swap them out. Once you understand DO NOT REMOVE the light covers. You actually access it from inside the trunk behind the access panel. after that it's very easy.
