My lamp holder is broken. New bulbs kept burning out. The BMW dealer wanted me to replace the entire brake light. Instead, it works and fits perfectly. Took me less than a minute to change it from the old one.

The socket came in excellent condition and the price would have been great if it hadn't had a metal contact tab on one side! The item was defective but was returned quickly - an additional fee was paid for buying an OEM part from a BMW dealer.

Original BMW sockets fit my 2002 BMW X5 3.0L exactly. While this is perfect, I still have an issue with the lightbulb lighting up intermittently. The fault is not the new sockets, but a circuit board on my rear light housing that I have to remove from the car to repair or re-solder a connection.

The ones on my BMW kept showing that the brake lights weren't working. I finally pulled it out and saw that the metal pins were burned. I didn't want to drive at night until I got it fixed. It fits, it's the same as the original. I had a problem, I originally ordered two but when I opened the box to find out I only received one. The seller responded very quickly and solved the problem quickly. I am happy with my purchase.
