Review on ๐ŸŒˆ HABA Rainbow Round Teether Cuddly - Interactive Soft Toy with Rattle & Teething Features by Committed Schmidt

Great concept, maybe not big enough

When I first saw this toy I thought it would be great fun for my little boy who is starting to learn textures and sounds. It seemed like a great idea because he has so many "fingers" flying off the toy's body. In addition, it is soft and safe. After giving him 3 weeks I can't seem to interest him. I was expecting him to hold it, turn it over and examine it like he does with many other toys, but he holds it and shakes it for a few seconds and then puts it down or tosses it aside. The selection on the edges is really inspiring. Some things wrinkle, there's a mirror, a couple of fingers are springy and you can pull. I think the problem is that the little protrusions hanging down the side just aren't big enough to notice. Small nodules and elastic spots the width of a finger, maybe a little less. I tried and tried but couldn't pique his interest. After having great success with the Sassy Developmental Bumpy Ball, I really expected it to be a hit, but it wasn't.
