The monitor was fine for 3 months until the DisplayPort input failed. This is my third Monoprice Zero G monitor in 9 months to experience a DisplayPort input error, so I can only conclude that the average lifespan is 3 months. My first monitor was a 27" Zero G and was replaced under warranty by Monoprice when the input failed. The second 27" Zero G failed at about the same time, but Monoprice ran out of stock of the same monitor, so they gave me a credit (which took forever, but that's another story). I added $100 and got this 35" as it was the second cheapest comparable product. Now it had the same input error and once again Monoprice cannot replace it with the same monitor and will only issue credit. I don't want to add another $100 to get the next cheapest comparable monitor again. Monoprice combines poor quality with an even worse return and exchange policy to keep getting more money out of me when their crappy gear melts. I'm done with them. I'm going to file a complaint with my state's consumer protection agency and just write this monitor off as an expensive lesson in why you shouldn't use cheap electronics.
