People still lose fingers when using pressure blocks (unfortunately I've witnessed this) so respect the saw, ONLY work when you are 100% focused on your work and NEVER allow that fact for even a second. just an inch or so. or just one, a slight distraction from the amputation of a limb. NEVER let this VERY REAL fact out of your mind while you are working, never bring your hands near or reach out to grip your work on the blade until the motor COMPLETELY STOPS turning. Wait until you hear SILENCE before moving. Even if the blade decelerates to a stop, even a final (slow) turn or two can amputate the finger. Even when using these safety blocks, RESPECT THE SAW!
