Safety first or lose a finger or two!

They're cheap, orange, ugly, and (durable) plastic, but they're sized to suit a wide range of users, they hold up pretty well, and most importantly. You will keep your fingers on your hand. I use them now on a 700lb 5hp Baileigh which luckily leaves you armless in no time. .just a sneeze or loss of concentration for a split second .and I feel safe with these pressure pads. A NOTICE. If you are new to table saws, DO NOT let the pressure block give you a false sense of security. People still lose fingers when using pressure blocks (unfortunately I've witnessed this) so respect the saw, ONLY work when you are 100% focused on your work and NEVER allow that fact for even a second. just an inch or so. or just one, a slight distraction from the amputation of a limb. NEVER let this VERY REAL fact out of your mind while you are working, never bring your hands near or reach out to grip your work on the blade until the motor COMPLETELY STOPS turning. Wait until you hear SILENCE before moving. Even if the blade decelerates to a stop, even a final (slow) turn or two can amputate the finger. Even when using these safety blocks, RESPECT THE SAW!

Pros
  • Each device in this set is intentionally finished in SAFE ORANGE for better visibility during use. This gives the user the ability to see exactly where their hands are during the cutting or routing process. The ORANGE SAFE color also makes it easy to find the device when it's not in its usual place.
Cons
  • boring packaging
