The hard bristles made the gums bleed.
The bristles on these brushes are incredibly hard and tore my gums when I first used the toothbrush. I brush my teeth well and regularly, so I don't have a problem with bleeding gums; However, the bristles on this brush scratched my gums to the point of bleeding and made brushing painful for several days, even with a regular soft toothbrush.
