The case itself is very high quality. The fans run at very low speeds and may have trouble cooling the card. The first device immediately blocked my machine when I plugged it in. The second worked, but then I had trouble getting the drivers. The link posted in the documentation didn't work, but I found the drivers elsewhere. The devices would intermittently disconnect, causing the card to squeak. Ironically, tape drives performed better than hard drives on a SAS controller because they are not officially supported. I tested the LSI 9200-16e in a case and it was stable and reliable. They can be bought for as little as $20 with near-universal support, so do the math.
