They are reversible satin, 3/8" wide and long enough to make two ribbons out of one ribbon per pack. Now I've done this for 3 of my bibles and 2 bibles for 2 of my friends. In fact, they're strong enough to pick up a block of text when you go to a banded page!simply cut one in half, stick it to a folded small cardboard rectangle with the other half of your choice of sticky tape, slide the top of the book spine between the covers and the block of text until the cardboard is visible and you have premium tapes for all Bibles! They are beautiful, durable and quite long. No more rolling, no more "too short" problems. And if you change the edge of the tape melt easily by bringing the flame close to the end of the belt but not the end, all the wear problems will go away.
