If the printer is so picky that it asks you to do something every 5 seconds just to print a simple document; close, open, wrong door/slot, adjust paper size, wrong paper type, blah blah blah. It would be easier to just buy another simpler printer where you open the paper tray, load paper and guess what it's printing without being asked to change anything, like you're working under the hood of a car. This is not the same printer.
