🖨️ Canon TS5120 Wireless All-In-One Printer with Scanner and Copier: Mobile Printing, Airprint(TM) & Google Cloud Print Compatible [White] Review

This will NOT connect to mobile devices via bluetooth. I'm furious for buying this model specifically because it claims to support Bluetooth and is compatible with iOS devices (assuming it's 9.0 or later). It won't work that way. Due to wireless network sharing restrictions at this printer location, Bluetooth is the only option to connect it to the iPad at the above location. Don't waste your time.

If the printer is so picky that it asks you to do something every 5 seconds just to print a simple document; close, open, wrong door/slot, adjust paper size, wrong paper type, blah blah blah. It would be easier to just buy another simpler printer where you open the paper tray, load paper and guess what it's printing without being asked to change anything, like you're working under the hood of a car. This is not the same printer.

I gave it three stars because it was so easy to install and the printer is cute. However, I started typing this evening and noticed that every printed page got darker. Also, it used up almost all of my color inks even though I only set the image to black and white. Very disappointed with this, especially as I've read that the printer won't work without a color cartridge (not sure how true that is) but then it must be as it used half of my color cartridge even though it was only set to B&W…

All the other negative reviews about the setup process almost put me off this printer, but I'm still glad I bought it! I really don't understand what everyone is complaining about. I just followed the instructions and connected the printer to my laptop and smartphone via Wi-Fi, although I'm not very tech savvy. So far the thing looks great, especially for such a low price. Inexpensive, especially if you have minimal printing needs. It looks fantastic, but it's the cheapest quality printer I've ever bought. Just don't touch anything and be careful when you move it or the cheap plastic will fall apart. The installation process is weird, it's a combination of your laptop, its 2 inch LCD screen and the front panel. It's also a great printer. Update 10 days later, WiFi stopped working, after 3 hours with customer support I finally gave up and sent this junk back.

The TS5120 is my first wireless printer and I wanted to maintain security and control over the data being delivered wirelessly via a wired USB connection to my primary device. Canon has not made it easy for itself. As mentioned in other reviews, the installation instructions seem confusing. Canon's setup guide folks: you need to fully follow the step-by-step procedure for EVERY possible setup scenario and abandon the "flowchart" method you're currently using. Another reason for deducting a star
