Needs the included adhesive pads to prevent sliding on a vertical surface
First off there is no way these have 140lbs of force, it can however lift a 10lbs iron weight fairly comfortably vertically it cannot handle 10lbs when being used like a coat hook unless you used the 3M adhesive pads included to hold it from sliding. That being said they were exactly what I needed to hang my headphones from the side of my metal desk and blend they in well in my office doing it.
- No need to worry about traditional hooks falling or breaking
- The hooks may leave marks or indentations on some surfaces
