I know these radiators are designed for computers wit water cooling, but I got this to build a cooling system for my K40 laser cutter. I currently use a large bucket full of water, with a pond pump to circulate. I keep a 1/2 gallon plastic jug in the freezer so that if the water temp rises too much, I can put it in to coo things down. But that’s a bit of a haphazard solution, so I decided to add this to the system to try to dissipate some of the heat to the air.My plan is to mount two 120mm AC fans to this radiator, and plumb it between the laser and the bucket to lose some heat. I don’t know how much it will improve the efficiency of the system, but I’m sure it will help. This is a nice size radiator for this kind of function. I think it is going to be a significant improvement.
