These are currently very large for my little one but have a great selection for different ages. We'll just put his tiny hands in his fingers and ignore the thumb for now. In very cold weather, we wear a pair of woolen socks over his hands under mittens, and after an hour outside, his hands become warm. On warm winter days, around 30+ degrees, mittens alone are enough. They go on and stay SO EASY! We have fought with many different mittens and these are absolutely the best. While they're technically quite large, there's plenty of room to grow over time and he could still use them for at least a few more years - definitely worth every penny.
