This is the second review I have written on this product. This first one doesn't match the other mostly positive reviews I've read and it helped my decision to buy this fan. My fan arrived on time and well packaged. My licensed electrician from a reputable company came the next day to start installing the fan. He was able to install steps 1-4 with no problem, but when he tried to finish the fan, it turned out that the hardware wasn't enough: 4 screws that were too short to attach the LED driver to the bracket and the missing nuts for the light plate. Messages. I contacted the company and they responded to my message within 24 hours and sent the bolt extensions and missing nuts. I called the electrician to set up another appointment for him to come back to complete the installation which took another 2 weeks before I received the package and was able to make an appointment. Moving on to one of the last steps, attaching the LED driver to the bracket, it turned out that there was another problem. It looks like one of the connectors in part #7 is defective, preventing the driver cable from connecting to the base. At this point we decided to remove parts of the fan as it couldn't finish the job. contacted the company and they responded again within 24 hours but told me the problem was my electrician's fault and they 'avoided' liability to them. I have used this electrician and his company for many jobs and they have all been done cleanly, quickly and with no problems. They are licensed and have a good reputation in the community, so much so that postponing meetings due to the company not providing all the necessary equipment has protracted this attempt much longer than it should have. I have asked for a refund for the fan and have not yet received a response. I also spent several hundred dollars on initial installation and subsequent reviews due to missing parts, and after investing about $700 in this fan I have a box of useless, poorly designed fan in my living room. a perfect example of "all that glitters is not gold". The crystals are beautiful, the design is unique and I was so excited to see how it would look in my bedroom. However, no fan, especially one that costs $337, should give me such a hassle that I have to wait many weeks to schedule and reschedule meetings for extra money and I have nothing to show. Also alarming is the company's refusal to take responsibility for the manufacturing defect and refund my money despite previous problems being noted on the letter chain. I am escalating this issue to Revain, my credit card company and ecommerce.gov as needed. For the price, this fan and experience was a parody. I sincerely hope that the company and/or Revain will do the right thing and refund the money promptly.
