The enclosed filter seemed fine. I installed it and started smelling diesel on the first drive. I assumed it was from changing the fuel filter. The second trip it was really bad and I pulled into my driveway and left the truck running and got out and diesel was gushing out from under it. I looked under the hood and it was spraying out the side of the filter where the two halves are mated together. I ran down to the auto parts store and bought the whole kit from there just for the under the hood part. Waste of money. I won’t buy a fuel filter on Best Buy again after this experience.
