Review on Extra Heavy Overnight Maxi Pads With Flexi-Wings For Periods, Unscented Size 5, 20 Count (Amazon Basics) by Jermaine Rhodes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I would make these my new go to brand if it weren't for the small but important details missing

I got these as a last resort because everyone had hoarded the regular store bought brand name pads, but as far as absorbency, adhesion, and comfort go, they're equal, just a lot cheaper! My cycle is heavy, so I where the overnights, largest size during the day and night during my first 2-3 days. For both regular brand name products and these--absorbency is pretty good during the day and "meh"/not horrible at night. Adhesion for both is not great for standard cotton panties, I'd say a 3 out of 5, but again, that's for both. Comfort is the same--lets face it, there's no such thing as comfort when you're practically wearing a diaper. The 2 very important things (at least to me) the are missing from these but come with brand name pads are the fact that they aren't sealed. The package they come in is sealed, but the individual pads are wrapped ,but not sealed. That kind of like buying a bag of Reese's, which is sealed shut, but when you open it you find that one of them has no wrapper. I throw that away. The other thing is they don't have the sticky tabs on the end holding them shut (which can be reused when you wrap a used pad up and keep it wrapped by sticking the tab back down (no need to use toilet paper). If it had these 2 features, I would definitely continue using these and never buy the brand names again.

Pros
  • Over night sleeping. The because product is thicker and more Absorbent
Cons
  • May cause discomfort while exercising
