Review on Mansfield 211 Flush Valve - 11.5 inches - Universal Fit for Trip Levers by John Miller

I buy them in bulk because the basic design seems built to fail. I don't know why this design ever became popular - the top PC breaks off the lever that hits it over time and needs to be replaced. However, these replacement devices are great. Maybe I could switch to a different style, like an old valve that took 2 minutes to replace, but I'm not that ambitious. Funny, I've never seen my dad or grandpa ever replace a piston/valve system. Is always. Ever since I got my own house, I swap out the flapper valve for a cheap replacement every 2 years. The Mansfield style seems to last 5 years but you have to remove the tank and everything. I have replaced 4 different toilets in the last 2 years. If you need it, this is a good replacement.
