This is a FULL wax ring. It's tacky as it should be and pretty much the standard thickness normally found in a product like this, the serviceable quality you'd expect from a small product that doesn't require a lot of technical knowledge to make from inexpensive materials and to be manufactured in good quality. well-known and established company in the sanitary sector. It does the job for which it is intended. I can't say I can imagine what the wax ring needed to do to perform excellently other than it was adequate. In the ranking they wanted me to rate the "transparency". I gave five stars for cleanliness because I really didn't want to downgrade her rating, even for something that seemed dated. I have to admit that it's opaque, barely see-through at the edges when looking around the corner. If by "clear" they mean the smoothness and texture of the wax and cone, then it WAS perfectly transparent with no protruding surfaces to catch passing debris. I'm sure the review request for this product popped up in my sidebar due to some computer algorithm, and the thought of posting a detailed review of such a mundane, well-known product was so absurd that I just had to respond. I must be bored. I think the only thing that could go wrong would be damage to the packaging, but that would be the fault of the processing service, not the manufacturer. The company's packaging looked appropriate - a molded plastic tray (if I remember correctly) that might even have been used to pour the melted wax that was placed inside during production. It wasn't a very strong plastic tray but it was strong enough to fit the box perfectly, the connection between the box and the tray had amazing structural integrity given its structure to protect the product inside. Even if it is poorly packed in a large shipping carton, there is a high chance it will reach its destination safe and sound.
