Addendum to original review: The second set of these bulbs lasted pretty much exactly 10 months, then both low beams burned out at the same time. During that time I've driven about 10,000 miles and don't leave my headlights on during the day except in inclement weather or on a bumpy dual carriageway. I don't think I will buy them again. The bulbs are lighter and whiter than the originals, but not by much. For the price, I'm happy with the brightness. The main problem, however, is the durability of the bulbs; both bulbs burned out within nine months. They were carefully installed and gloves were put on to prevent the oil from getting on the bulbs. Philips and Revain customer service expedites the warranty process quickly and new bulbs were sent free of charge. The warranty is great but I would prefer the bulbs to last longer. If you buy these I highly recommend having a spare set in your vehicle.
