Solid and solidly made - but not, contrary to advertising, under the Kyocera Dura XV LTE phone. I had to push the case of the phone in - apparently the case was too tight - and since the flap of the phone was trapped at the top of the case the phone couldn't close properly. This means the backlight stayed on and drained the battery power. To remove the case I literally had to use an X-acto knife and carefully cut it off (while being careful not to damage the phone)! So I can't even return it and get my money back! But if you have a clamshell phone smaller than the Kyocera XV then you should definitely try this case - it's definitely some research because I was wrong!
