Review on Lisle 65250 Automotive Bearing Packer by Chris Sisley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works out. It s cheap. It includes stock.

Works well for such an inexpensive tool and seems to hold up. A lot of preparation is required with a grease gun, as the empty center of the race must be filled before grease can flow out. Eliminate the bleeding by first filling the empty space with grease with your fingers, then using the clean residue to fill the cavity inside the part body. This is very economical as you use as much fat as you need and you don't have to fill the entire pan with fat. It also comes in handy when you need to use a special grease for different bearings. The tube through which the lubricant flows contained remnants of aluminum drilling from production; I screwed the shaft out of the plastic and used compressed air to blow out the rest of the coating, which wouldn't be good for pumping into your bearing. when I was a full-time mechanic. This one is great for casual use as it requires a lot more work and is slower than professional packers.
