I installed this on a Wrangler Sport because cylinder #4 was misfiring and new spark plugs didn't fix the problem. Installation was easy. I started the jeep to see if everything was ok and there was an uncomfortable rumble. Since it didn't happen before I put that part in, I knew it had to be. He began to unscrew the bolts to see what was the matter, and sparks flew from the third of the four bolts; then the ratchet flew as I was amazed. I disconnected the battery, finished removing the backpack and found nothing obvious on it. I put the old one in and it doesn't rattle, so that must be the part. As it turns out, I stepped out of the returns window and I'm excited. I'm going to disassemble it to see if I can diagnose and maybe even fix it. At the same time, my #4 cylinder simply has to do its best. I won't say "never buy this" as such an obvious problem I'm having can't possibly be that common. But beware: if the thing makes a loud ticking or rattling noise, do yourself a favor and disconnect the battery before loosening the screws.
