I bought a desktop mic stand and attached a tripod adapter to the end to place my webcam right in front of my computer monitor. So I can look at the monitor and see what I'm doing and at the same time look (almost) straight into the camera. With this gadget it is very easy to position the camera exactly where I need it. No problems at all, works as expected. Update: A year and a half of daily use and still works great. I now use a sturdy mic stand with a long stem that's pulled all the way out so I can position my webcam where I need it and it's rock solid. I hold onto my little webcam while we present great webinars. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm about to buy another one so I can have webcams on both computers.
