Review on Dorman HELP Bypass Pulley 34184 by Tyler Munajj

This thing does the job but doesn't cost more than $30. This is my second purchase of this product. I got the exact same thing for the same truck the last time the A/C failed. It should not have been kept after deletion. Shaky and worn. The bolt that secures the pulley threads into a cast bracket. There is no mother on the back. The fit is not perfect and not adjustable. When bolted on as specified, the belt flexes noticeably to fit this pulley on my '96 Ranger. I put some washers around the rear bolt to tilt it forward. Another solution I might try next time is to buy a shorter belt.
