I was disappointed to find that the hardware supplied with this fitting was not stainless steel. In other words, if the application requires the pipe to be buried, or if it is in a damp or corrosive environment, the lightly galvanized steel will rust over time, leaving half the fitting in place with only cement. Any movement would break the connection. If you decide to use this item, you should be prepared to replace it in time. If you need a more permanent instillation, purchase a pair of stainless steel clamps large enough to enclose the pipe and then use them to secure the fitting. The part also had a bad die cut with 1/4 inch of material sticking out. Side of hole for 2" pipe. It had to be trimmed so it doesn't collect debris and cause clogs.
