This is my second Litbloom tree so I was confident it would meet my expectations. The first is completely different - a white birch, the branches of which are wrapped in tiny garlands. I love it any time of the year, but I especially love decorating it for any holiday/season. This maple was purchased for seasonal use, but I'm already starting to think about where to place it when it's not the center of one of my favorite fall decorations. Harvest witch. I first turned this table into a witch grove of acorns using the lamp that usually stands on the table. However, upon seeing this tree, I realized that turning it on would take the performance from great to spectacular. What happened. How do I know? This is the first thing guests comment on and the tree is always mentioned. It obviously changed perspectives, but why keep going like this all year? The tree is so realistic that it looks like something magical. Because of its design, it's like having a real miniature tree in my house. Other "brown" trees I saw up close looked like they were wrapped in strips of brown paper. I have no idea how the bark of this tree was formed, but I can tell you that it is rough and textured and doesn't feel like paper at all. Also, like my other Litbloom tree, the internal support is well hidden so the branches look and curve naturally while the tree is very strong and secure. (It may seem obvious, but I returned the birch to another company that had tubers, angular edges protruding in places along the trunk, and open ends of the support beams.) Aside from the color, this tree also differs from the winter birch in that that there are leaves that I was really worried about. As someone who does a lot of decorating in the fall, I've come across a wide variety of artificial leaves. Some growers don't try to mimic the stems, veins, and color gradations of fall leaves, while others may convince me I'm looking at a real leaf. The leaves of this tree closely resemble the illusion of a real leaf. They aren't as detailed in terms of veining as the best faux leaves I've seen, but the company did a great job providing color variation and stem detail, as well as a dramatic "wrinkle". I was particularly impressed by the fact that the back of the leaves also looked real. Often the fronts look realistic, but no effort has been made to finish the backs. As you probably already understood, I am very impressed with this tree and will find a place for it in my year-round decoration. means to eliminate something else. I just love the atmosphere it creates!
