I love the BOA fit. The micro profile is ideal for slippery rocks and desert runs. Some have reported that the outsole is not as thick and soft as other trail shoes, so it's probably not an ultra long trail shoe, but it was great for a day at the Grand Canyon. Drive (24 miles) followed by a brisk walk up and down Angels Landing the next day. I felt like Spider-Man - full confidence in my support. The only thing that confuses me is that the heel cup is weirdly crumpled. This does not affect the fit or feel. There is no rubbing. But I have a feeling that the shoe will eventually break.
