I used contact paper as a temporary fix for our bathroom. It is very helpful to see how the appearance of marble has transformed the space before deciding on new countertops. Attaching the paper definitely took some learning but I watched a few videos, removed the backing as I went, smoothed it out etc. The front I was able to stick to a sheet as shown in the picture but the back that I had done had to be done in sections because of the mussels. If I didn't have shelves covering the center seams I would probably try to use the larger pieces, but the smaller pieces were much easier to work with. As you can see it looks great overall and you really need to study it to see where the different parts meet. I am very comfortable!
