Review on KENOWA 13.3 Inch Portable Monitor ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ HD13.3-1366X768-Houkuan-US - Wall Mountable, 60Hz, Built-In Speakers by David Robinson

Blurry display, terrible viewing angles.

I've bought over a dozen different small monitors in the last month. It has the worst display of them all and is significantly inferior even to a budget Chromebook. Colors are not saturated, contrast is poor and viewing angles are very narrow even for a TN panel. The description says "bright saturation" and assumes the monitor is suitable for wall mounting. Neither, but a total failure in applications such as signage or "status boards" because of the viewing angle. The screen is unusable if your head is not positioned correctly. I should note that this whole genre of small nameless monitors seems to be composed of commercial parts (in Chinese online shops you can find dozens of sellers of cases, driver boards and panels), and it is very likely that very different panels can be used in different editions, depending on current availability. With the 13-inch form factor popular with Chromebooks, it's entirely possible the little guys on the market just can't find decent panels at the moment, but all I can say is that the monitor I got was from was really bad quality and I returned it.
