Ideal for shaping. This comes with a grinder shaft mounting nut that is thinner than the one on my grinder. The original fitment on my grinder would be too large, so I ask the supplier to include a correct size nut. The smaller nut doesn't get both pins on my BC wrench, the holes are closer together, but I can tighten it enough with a pin and spindle lock on the grinder. Good affordable supplement. I expect to only use this occasionally, but I'm glad I have the versatility of a new way of sculpting wood.
