Customer service was very helpful design of this item is just not good
bought this in July put the bars on according to instructions, bought a roof cargo holder and needed to move the bars and one of the clamps would not tighten. I reached out to customer service and they did respond very promptly and made this right. In my opinion the item just is not a good design.
