Incomplete shipment, returning

The instructions clearly state that an adhesive label should be put on your rails to place the cross bars correctly. My shipment didn't have the label. I reached out to customer support and they didn't have the label. Returning, I don't want the risk of improperly installed bars causing an accident or vehicle damage.

Customer service was very helpful design of this item is just not good

bought this in July put the bars on according to instructions, bought a roof cargo holder and needed to move the bars and one of the clamps would not tighten. I reached out to customer service and they did respond very promptly and made this right. In my opinion the item just is not a good design.

Broke on the first use

Used to secure my 40 lb kayak and on the trip home the front crossbar broke off, sending my kayak and the holder attached to the crossbars flying onto the highway. Seemed chintzy when installing, but I figured since it was rated to hold over 100 lbs that it would be fine. Cannot recommend this product, it’s not safe

Failed while attaching.

The attachments are plastic and not sturdy enough to hold. Two of the four broke when tightnening Any loser and they don't hold. Buy rails with metal attachments.

Product images are misleading, logo aggressively displayed

Specifically picked this set because product images did not display any logo or option. However upon arrival each side of the cross bar has a big logo plastered on each one.Installation straightforward but they should be upfront about product in that it contains aggressive branding.

Poor Quality - my new review

2017 RAV4 Install -Qualification for Install: I worked as an apprentice mechanic/Auto Tech (mostly head gaskets for the master engine tech) and at a couple quick service stations (so I understand how nuts and bolts are supposed to work).From the start these weren't exactly a great fit (lots of play) nor did the quality seem convincing (way to much plastic to comfortably haul a 80lb canoe on the highway for any appreciable distance). I’ll take two good for me

Super easy to install and sturdy when fastened! The end caps are plastic (which was a bummer at first) but snap together firmly and is unnoticeable when all put together.
