Not sure I will be using this spice rack as the tiers have no rims to keep the bottles from tipping over. The mat is sticky to keep items in place, but the bottle can easily be knocked over by grabbing the bottle on the other level. Removing the bottle from the middle level is like playing the operation game. You have to lift the bottle straight up or you can tilt the bottle to the lower or upper level. This is good for showing something you don't want to touch too much, like a collection of characters.
