Review on Heavy Duty Commercial Apple Corer and Divider - New Star Foodservice 42887: Reliable and Efficient by Denise Smith

After reading reviews that said it worked on large apples I went ahead and bought it. I didn't find it even remotely close to working with large apples, but medium ones are fine. That's disappointing because here in Washington state, apples grow very large and this year's crop is larger than previous years. I buy grown apples, not those graded to medium size for sale in grocery stores, and find that three out of four apples don't go through the slicer, and those that need to be pushed often I've attached a photo. Of the 4 apples in the house there are now 3 Honey Crisp and 1 Fuji. Of the four, only the smaller Honey Crisp fits through, and some of the outside edges need to be shaved off to create it.
