Review on 📀 Toshiba D-R400 DVD Recorder with 1080p Upconversion and DivX Certification - No Tuner by Darius Slater

I bought this device about 3 months ago and am very happy with it. The module is relatively easy to use (although my application is quite simple). Basically I was looking for a recorder that would allow me to archive shows from my DVR to DVD. After setup, I double click the play button on my DVR and the record button (for a 30 minute show) and walk away. The upconversion is pretty good. In fact, I've stopped using my other DVD player because the picture from this player looks very good (for professionally recorded media). There are several recording quality settings. I've found that anything under 4 hours is unwatchable on DVD. A setting of 4 hours or less provides acceptable output quality. On the other hand, I mainly record Thomas the Tank Engine and Sesame Street.
