SSD not recognized in MacBook Pro Disk Utility

I just bought a new Jet Drive 850 for Mac because the previously used SSD was damaged. Apple Genius determined that the problem is with the SSD. I removed my old SSD and replaced it with a new one. The problem is that the drive is not recognized as online by Disk Utility. I tried twice, is it the same because it's not formatted? When it comes to formatting it, what tools are needed? Or is the problem different? Please guide me!
