This cartridge has a very tight connection to the valve stem. Installation does not take much longer than with a conventional chuck. The mechanical workmanship is of high quality and makes it easy to put on and take off. Be sure to use the deflation valve after inflation, otherwise it may become difficult and damage the cartridge. I installed this cartridge on a special pump. The Lezyne seems to require a smaller diameter hose than usual. From what I have in store 9mm seems to be the standard and this requires 8mm. I simply shaved off the end of the tubing and the Lezin cartridge fitted just fine
