These jugs are the best and I have 6 of them. I have arthritis so this is important. The spout opener can be tight, but I don't use it for liquids. I use them to store flour, sugar, cat food, cereal etc. They sit well on the shelf and you can see what's inside. Everything is hermetically sealed. I've tried so many plastic jugs over the years and none of them come close to this quality. They are good value for money and go up and down in price but beware and you might get a lower price. I also noticed that there are a few listings for the same pitcher. If you want a guaranteed blue pitcher, it will cost more. If you choose the one with 4 different colors and don't choose any color, this choice will be cheaper. I received a variety of colors and they are all great. And I open and close two jars every day - twice a day - and have never had a problem with clips. The best quality I've ever seen in storage containers.
