Review on 15-in-1 USB C Hub Docking Station with HDMI, VGA, Wireless Charger, Gigabit Ethernet, 3 USB 3.0, SD/TF Card Reader, USB C to 3.5mm, for MacBook Pro and Type C Devices (Thunderbolt 3) by David Naranjo

The device worked well with the new Dell XPS 15. My criticism relates to the design improvement they need to make in their next version of the product and it might make you think: HDMI: Place the HDMI port instead on the back from the front. HDMI cables are heavy and are rarely removed from docks. The port should be at the back so as not to clutter the table. USB: Moving HDMI to the back moves one of the USB ports to the front. This is important for laptop users (like me) who have keyboard and mouse buttons. The rear buttons have significant RFI and the keyboard/mouse is intermittent (the dock is on the left of the laptop due to Dell's placement of the Thunderbolt port, so distance and RFI issues reduce reliability). CABLE: It's not, but the cable could have been a bit longer. If you're using a monitor stand (like me), the short cable won't work. UPDATE: After some experimentation, I found that audio devices connected to the USB ports (in my case with the Logic Z407 or my HDMI speaker monitor) "disconnect" during the screen saver when connected to the dock (speakers work fine on the laptop). Since those two external speakers worked fine with the previous laptop (no dock. Just dumb USC hubs), the issue is with the dock or how it interacts with the Dell Thunderbolt ports. The main problem in my opinion.
