I used it to clean my hangar of epoxy, wood, concrete in unfinished basement etc. The call is good and powerful, the device is perfectly stable even when it rings. To be honest I wouldn't want anything smaller as it would be cumbersome to use with my regular Rubbermaid mop but understand you will need some space to store it as it takes the place of a shop vacuum and not just a small bucket. .
