This appears to be a well made product and other reviews lead me to believe it works well - with one BIG problem: the gauge stem is spring loaded and only protrudes when the gauge is on the tyre. Valve. As soon as you remove it from the valve, the stem will break off and you will no longer be able to read the pressure. This may be a feature of the water pressure gauge, but it makes the gauge practically useless for reading car tire pressure, especially in dim light or when the tire valve is close to the ground. This feature is not listed in the description. I'm returning it and am looking for a gauge that has the pressure gauge stem sticking out after the gauge is removed from the valve.
