so my feet are very picky when it comes to shoes. They are very cute and I am very sad that the buckle the strap goes through is rubbing my ankle. Even with similarly priced Teva designs, my ankle has never worked with them either. The Soul was very soft (like the Chaco in 2010) and the grip looked good. Didn't support my high arch as much as I would like, but felt like it was enough, which most shoes (even the likes of Merrel or Tevas) don't make that claim to provide arch support for. But unfortunately I knew that if they are already chafing at the ankle then they are definitely not suitable for hiking etc. So unfortunately I will be returning it.
