I use these things in my remote smoker every time, picking up burning/smoldering embers and charcoal without hitting the whole time. .Are some of the stitching really burnt out after a year of use? Yes. Will I order another pair today? Yes. Nothing beats the dexterity of these gloves when you need the wood or charcoal in the right place. If they could find a way to make the stitching last a little longer that would be great but ultimately I don't know of a better product in this price range.
