This monitor saved my work life. Working from home has not been without its problems. I don't have a permanent workspace at the moment, so I needed something I could assemble and move. I worked on my little Mac Air for 6 months and couldn't take it anymore. It gave me exactly what I needed in terms of extra screen real estate and portability. The clarity is great and you can adjust it for low blue light, change the brightness, etc. A couple of things: the magnetic lid/stand is only really good as a lid. As a result, I got a tablet stand with adjustable height and angle. I also had to buy a Lightning Bolt 2 to HDMI adapter. This screen has a C connector which my laptop does not support. However, this is easily fixed with an adapter. It has its own speakers, but they only fit my Mac, so I use Mac speakers instead. If I were to use my phone with this screen the built in speakers would be fine. All in all, I am very happy that I have this monitor. It put some productivity back into my workday.
