This shoe is quite comfortable after a little more breaking in than I'm used to. Out of the box, the shoe is stiff and offers more stability than a halo, for example. That being said, the shoes actually hurt the first time I wore them as the stiffness dented my foot. The laces are not ordinary, but a hard, thin cord. I hate shoelaces. After about a week, the shoes broke and stopped hurting. Now it's still hard but comfortable. I'll probably change laces and probably go back to the Halo. Nimbus 22 had a drooping heal, actually collected on its own, and turned to trash after a month. They are also slightly longer than my halo despite being the same size. I don't think they justify the price and aren't the best Asics.
