My P0455 in my 2007 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.4L
The infamous major EVAP leak code, p0455, occurs when either the EVAP canister fails or the canister closure valve is unable to close. Sometimes this happens because the bugs like the smell of gasoline and will crawl through the exhaust. It should be open by default, but if you can't top up the gas tank, chances are this thing is stuck closed. If replacing the gas cap does not reset the code, try the following. It's probably broken. It is located behind the rear wheel well on the driver's side and should not be confused with the breather valve in the engine compartment.
