Terrible opening/closing. Complex installation

Works albeit rough. The facility was terrible. These cylinder seats can usually simply be pressed onto the spindles, but not these. I had to get a screwdriver and undo the locking tabs. Then the protrusions rotate in the bushings and do not allow the spindle to be inserted. After struggling with them a lot, I installed them. They have a very rough movement. They seem to have a stopper almost halfway. This means that when I open the topper lid they pull really hard and then almost snap about halfway. It then takes a lot of pressure to get them past that midpoint and then the topper lid pops open. I doubt I'll leave them, they swing open so far I'm afraid the top cover will crack or the window will shatter. The same happens when you close the topper lid. I have to hold on to the top of the lid to keep those cylinders from slamming hard. A very poorly made product.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • No machine
