My 3 year old asked for a "flat fish tank" for Christmas, along with a series of other essentially non-sensical things that he dreamed up. I decided to try to actually find a flat fish tank and was very pleased to find this, because I had been assuming it would have to be a water-filled item with a current and plastic fish, which would have been messy and unwieldy to use in a small child's bedroom.He loves this thing, not least because it's an actual "flat" fish tank. He uses it every night as a nightlight, so I anticipate that either the gears or the light will fail pretty quickly, because it's honestly not super well-made, but who cares. the kid is happy, so I'm happy.
